Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 13T. The rollout began in Indonesia with firmware version OS3.0.1.0.WMFIDXM. Users in other regions should expect to receive the update in the coming days.

HyperOS 3 update brings new kernel and AI features to Xiaomi 13T

The update brings the device up to Android 16 and introduces a new kernel version 6.12.38-android16. This kernel upgrade required extended testing, which delayed the release for this specific model. The stable HyperOS 3 package weighs approximately 6.5 GB for the Xiaomi 13T.

HyperOS 3 adds several visual and functional changes to the interface. The update introduces Xiaomi HyperIsland, a compact interface element positioned at the top of the display to show real-time notifications from applications such as WhatsApp, YouTube, and Spotify. The update also introduces AI Cinematic Lock Screen and AI Dynamic Wallpapers for deeper lock screen customizations.

Enhanced compatibility with Apple products is achieved through support for a simplified file transfer function. The feature enables the execution of mobile applications designed for Xiaomi devices within the iPad environment. Additional artificial intelligence capabilities have been added, covering text generation, voice transcription, query assistance, and language translation.

Xiaomi delayed the HyperOS 3 release for the Xiaomi 13T because it needed more time to test the new Android 16 kernel. The new kernel version influences system efficiency, resource management, visual processing, power usage, device support, and software stability. The company prioritized deeper testing before releasing the update to the public.

The stable HyperOS 3 update is now available for the Xiaomi 13T in Indonesia with firmware version OS3.0.1.0.WMFIDXM. The rollout will expand to other regions in the coming days. To verify installation, users should open Settings, go to About phone, and tap the system logo displayed at the top of the screen.
