The OnePlus Ace 7 Pro outsells the Ace 6 by 125% in its first sales period, taking the top spot alongside the OnePlus 16 for 2026 Android sales in China.

OnePlus Ace 7 Pro launches in China, selling much better than predecessor. OnePlus China president Li Jie said that the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro sold 225% more during the first sales period, compared to the OnePlus Ace 6. That means the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro and OnePlus 16 are at the top of the leaderboard for Android sales on the first day for the 2026 period in China. More importantly, this gives us a confirmed choice for high-refresh rate screens if you want performance oriented phones.

Internal data shows Ace 7 Pro sales reaching 225% of Ace 6 figures

The Ace 7 Pro is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor to help back up its claims of performance. OnePlus says this is the only performance device in its price range that gets 165Hz across the entire system. The screen is also a 4th generation BOE Oriental with a custom X4 luminescent material. That combination means the screen can run 185Hz in supported games and still get 165Hz on the system as a whole.

Specifications

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
  • Display Refresh Rate: 185Hz (games), 165Hz (system-wide)
  • Main Camera: 200MP sensor
  • Telephoto Camera: Periscope telephoto lens
  • Cooling System: Dual-Path Glacier Cooling System

The Ace 7 Pro features a 200MP primary camera and a periscope telephoto camera. To help keep the phone cool from the Snapdragon chip and high refresh rate display, OnePlus used a Dual-Path Glacier Cooling system. OnePlus claims that it is the first in the industry to have this thermal system. All of this is aimed at those looking for something to game with and a high resolution for photography.

According to Li Jie, the sales were unstoppable after the phones launched on October 29th. The phones were immediately available for purchase after the launch, which helped take advantage of the initial interest. We previously covered the final reveals for the Ace 7 series before the launch date. Now, it's all confirmed and we see that the specs are hitting home with the Chinese crowd.

The OnePlus Ace 7 Pro is officially launched in China with availability right now. The internal numbers from OnePlus say that the Ace 7 Pro outdid the Ace 6 by 125% in the first sales period. These numbers are not confirmed by a third party.

However, they are showing that there is interest in the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro right now. The phone has the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a 200MP camera setup.

Internal sales data is marketing fluff. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the real story here.
