An unofficial fan port of Hades II brings the game to Android, offering 30- 50 FPS on budget devices like the Moto G75 with support for touch and gamepad controls.

Hades II by Supergiant Games now available on android devices, thanks to an unofficial fan port that bring the roguelike dungeon crawler to mobile platforms outside of their native environment. Hades II offers players the chance to play a deep, narrative-driven game on a wider range of devices despite the experimental nature of the current version. Keep in mind this is a fan project and not officially sanctioned by the developer.

Community build brings Supergiant's roguelike to Android with variable performance and input options

The port is based off macOS version of the game and currently runs on version 1.1-beta. The port supports multiple inputs, giving the player the option of both touch controls and external gamepads. Players can choose how they want to play the game. Touch controls on screen or play more conventionally using an external gamepad.

Frame rates vary greatly depending on the device specifications. Players with Moto G75 (Snapdragon 6 Gen 3) report fps ranges from 30-50 FPS. Another player saw a decent experience on a Dimensity 8300 Ultra device. Players can even specify third-party graphics drivers on Snapdragon devices for additional customizations.

Unsurprisingly, early adopters of the port seem to have stability issues. Players have reported issues with black screens and controls. These bugs indicate that it's not completely stable on all devices. Users are reporting stability problems and monitoring it as the fan project moves forward.

Hades II on Android devices for mobile gamers thanks to fan port of the game. While it's not an official version, this port gives players an accessible way to play the game on Android. If you're interested in checking it out, keep in mind that you may run into some technical bugs and framerate issues.
