Technical details: There are specific requirements to get this application working well on mobile. The device must be running Android 10 or higher. It must also support Vulkan 1.1 graphics API. At the time of this writing, the game runs at a steady 100-120 FPS on a Galaxy S25 Ultra with Android 17.
Details: There are issues with stability on some hardware configurations. There are also performance differences depending on the hardware used. Codepdbh says that the game currently crashes on devices with Exynos 850 or Dimensity 7020. If you’re using those chipsets, expect instability until there’s a fix.
Legacy EA game comes to Android thanks to unofficial port by the community. It’s cool to see how older PC games can be played at high FPS rates on modern smartphones with the right adaptations. If you’re a fan of this particular arcade racer, give the port a try on compatible hardware.
