Herman Miller has released the Coyl gaming desk, marking its first dedicated entry into the gaming furniture market. The product targets PC gamers with a design that integrates power management and cable organization directly into the frame.

The desk features electronic sit-stand legs powered by a distinctive coiled red cable. A multi-socket extension cord sits inside the rear cable tray to manage peripheral connections. Users adjust height using a large knurled knob rather than standard digital buttons, though programmable presets remain unconfirmed. The desktop surface is a plain laminate slab available in black, white, walnut, or ash finishes.
Organization tools include a full-length metal pegboard on the back for accessory mounting and a headset hook mounted under the left side of the desk. Herman Miller backs the Coyl with a 12-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.
The Coyl gaming desk starts at $1,475. It is currently available in North America through the official Herman Miller website.
Herman Miller has not confirmed whether programmable height presets will be added via firmware updates.
