In the game you'll play as a futuristic knight seeking your lost daughter, in a destroyed post-apocalyptic version of Seoul. This storyline allows for solo or co-op gameplay, offering a way for you to experience the story and tactical gameplay either by yourself or in groups. Tactical equipment and different types of vehicles will be at your disposal to make your way through the destroyed city and discover the story behind the setting.
The game has PC specs of Ray Tracing, DLSS 4 for high fidelity visuals and to optimize performance. These systems are the core of the experience and what makes it different from other shooters – a focus on tactical strategy and cooperation for the execution.
Cinder City's working title was Project LLL before they changed it to the name we have today. The game has gone through previous teasers with the story teaser for example which showed an alien invasion plot. All this led to the release of the new trailer with a more in-depth tactical overview.
We also reported on the last Cinder City update. Some of the same topics of balance, stability were highlighted here, showing that the focus is on optimizing core gameplay.
There's no ETA currently for when Cinder City will release. So we still don't have a release date. The trailer is the main source of information for the gameplay mechanics and visual style until we get further announcements. So this confirms that we now know the tactical systems and visual features of the game, but not when they'll be available.
