Quarter Up released hotfix version 1.012 for Invincible VS on July 2 to address technical issues in Season 1. This update matters because it fixes critical bugs that affect skin visuals and ranked gameplay for console players. The patch also introduces new characters and compresses the ranked ladder to make progression more accessible.

New fighters and compressed ranked brackets arrive in Season 1 hotfix
The update arrives on the console platform as Invincible VS update 1.012. It adds two new fighters, Universa and The Immortal, to the roster. The game remains in Season 1 as the developer rolls out these changes.
Version 1.012 corrects UI issues with the Zero Suit Mark skin and fixes model bugs for new skins and characters. It also adjusts ultimate move interactions for Anissa, Titan, and Universa to prevent them from hitting Assist characters incorrectly. The patch includes Endless Ladder mode in Arcade, Steam Cloud save support, and five new tutorial lessons.
Ranked Season 1 brackets have been compressed to improve player progression. Diamond IV now starts at 6,400 LP, down from 9,600 LP. Guardians of the Globe IV now starts at 9,600 LP, down from 16,200 LP. Players below 6,400 LP keep their current LP, those between 6,400 and 9,599 LP lose up to 800 LP, and players at 9,600 LP or higher reset to 9,600 LP.
This hotfix delivers immediate quality-of-life improvements and roster expansion for Invincible VS Season 1 players. The compressed ranked system and bug fixes aim to stabilize the competitive environment ahead of future content.
