Delta 2.0 is releasing on October 22nd, and brings with it compatibility with the upcoming iPhone Duo foldable from Apple. This means that Nintendo DS games can be played on both screens of the new device. It's important because it means that Delta is ready for the newest Apple device form factor, and ready to utilize it even before the new device is on the market.
Delta emulator adds Sega Genesis support and RetroAchievements in major update
Delta for iOS now also supports Sega Genesis and Mega Drive games, for the first time ever. This means that one can now play classic games on your iPhone and iPad, with virtual controllers to control the games on screen. This opens up a whole new world of legacy console games to iPhone/iPad.
- Version: 2.0
- Supported Platforms: iOS (iPhone, iPad)
- New Hardware Support: iPhone Duo (Foldable)
- New Console Support: Sega Genesis / Mega Drive
- Visual Style: Liquid Glass
Delta has been completely redesigned for a new Liquid Glass design language. RetroAchievements are also integrated into the emulator now to enhance the retro gaming experience. Now you can keep track of your retro gaming achievements across all your emulated games.
Delta also supports DLCs for GameBoy Advance Pokemon games. It even comes with CRT graphics filters to give you that old display tech feel. These new features are to make retro gaming on modern iOS devices much more authentic.
