Farewell sale begins October 26 before content leaves store
To send this content off, Behaviour Interactive will be doing a farewell sale that will begin on October 26. This sale will allow you to get your hands on the content before it is removed from the store entirely. This is a big hit for players with long term collection goals.
These might include the Good Guy Box charm. Or if you want to use the specific Chucky killer.
The Chucky Chapter brings the famous horror villain to the game. You will be able to play the killer in-game. And you get the 'Good Guy' Box Charm to customize with.
Behaviour Interactive has made it clear that any content you unlocked up until the removal on November 24 will still be accessible in your library 100%. The studio mentions how certain achievements around the Chucky character will be converted into general achievements. This helps preserve the progress players have worked on.
Starting on October 26, 2024. There will be a sale for the DLC bundle. It will be discounted for everyone.
As we've been following Dead by Daylight quite a bit lately. Including the fact that you could get it for free on Xbox (all users) for a weekend. Now we are seeing a new phase of the game's content come in. The developer is going to be sunsetting this content for this specific chapter.
If you manage to buy the DLC during the farewell sale. You will have permanent access to the killer and the charm. And since they convert the achievements that are around that character.
If you are a completionist, you don't have to worry about losing your hard earned stats. The Chucky chapter will no longer be available for purchase after November 24, 2026.
