Ubisoft released Ghost Recon Wildlands update 1.33 on September 15 to fix bugs that broke the Last Rites content. Players who bought the Definitive Edition Upgrade on found that the Narco Road and Fall Ghosts DLC remained locked. This patch restores access to those features and fixes audio issues for Latin American players on Steam. The update also resolves a bear trap tutorial error that falsely claimed players could release allies.

The update targets stability on PC systems with hybrid CPUs. Ubisoft improved the situation regarding e-core issues that caused loading times to be slightly longer than normal. The patch also fixes a bug where some weapon attachments players already unlocked were missing from their Gunsmith. Additionally, the update corrects a Charactersmith issue where helmets were automatically replaced by other helmets when equipped.

Ghost Recon Wildlands runs on PC via Steam and on Xbox consoles. The update addresses specific platform errors that prevented proper ownership verification. The Definitive Edition does not appear as owned after purchasing it on Xbox. Players on Xbox also saw the error Minero-8000FFF after purchasing credit packs from the store. The update fixes several text issues in the game UI.

We looked at the last Ghost Recon Wildlands update earlier while tracking launches. That previous update focused on 4K and 60fps performance for the Definitive Edition. This new patch returns to core stability and bug fixes. Players can now unclench themselves from a bear trap, which matches the gameplay. All headwear now properly appear on characters after this fix.

The update brings Last Rites fixes globally on September 15. It resolves missing Latin American voices and subtitles in Last Rites on Steam. Fixed situations in which players might spawn in Caimanes Rally Point with unloaded textures are included. The tutorial has been fixed to match the gameplay. Note: players can only unclench themselves from a bear trap, not allies.
