Avatar – The Last Airbender: Quest for Balance will be gone from in December of 2026. The important thing about this is that it means new people won't be able to buy the game. It won't affect anyone who already has the game as they will still have it.

Owners keep access while new sales end in December 2026

It'll just be delisted from the digital marketplace which means there will be no software available to purchase. The reason the game is being delisted isn't because of a technical error or anything. It's just because the license is expiring after a normal time period.

Bamtang Games published the game originally on the PC and different consoles. GameMill Entertainment, which published the game, is the one who sent out the notice to inform the players of the situation. The main platform being affected by the delisting of the game is Steam. It may still be available on other platforms if they have the licenses.

The game has a predominantly negative rating on Steam. Only 36% of the reviews are positive. The main reason for the poor rating was the constant technical problems people were facing.

Quality issues were likely a factor in the decision to allow the license to expire. It was never a big critical success or a stable commercial success on the platform.

If people had the game before the cut off date, then they can continue to enjoy it completely. The games in someone's library won't disappear from it when the license expires. It just means that no one will be able to buy it through the official digital platforms anymore after the date. It's the end of the active distribution of the game on Steam.
