This single accessory aims to replace the need for two separate docks by automatically adjusting to the specific console connected to it. The proposed hardware detects the connected device to tailor its performance. It supports video output up to 4K for the Switch 2, while capping the original Switch at 1080p. The dock also manages data transfer speeds, operating at USB 3.0 for the newer console and scaling back to USB 2.0 for the older model.
