Logitech is updating its popular G305 Lightspeed mouse with a lighter design and modern features. The new G305 X Superlight cuts weight from 99 grams to 60 grams, making it much easier to flick across a mousepad. It also swaps AA batteries for USB-C rechargeable power, a change many users have wanted.
Lighter design and USB-C charging
The G305 X Superlight uses a Hero 44K sensor capable of tracking up to 678 inches per second. Connectivity now includes Bluetooth alongside the familiar Lightspeed wireless dongle and a wired mode. An optional receiver unlocks up to 8kHz polling rate for faster response times.

The G305 X Superlight keeps the same basic shape as its predecessor but sheds nearly 40% of the weight. Logitech achieved this by moving to a smaller internal battery and refining the shell. The result is a lightweight wireless mouse that still offers tri-mode connectivity and a top-tier sensor.
