8BitDo is introducing a new line of gaming peripherals designed for players who prefer a nostalgic aesthetic. The 'Cozy Collection' brings pixelated nature themes to the Xbox ecosystem, offering a fresh visual alternative to standard black hardware. Buyers looking to customize their console setup now have specific options for keyboards, mice, and controllers that blend retro graphics with modern functionality.

New peripherals feature pixelated woodland and sea creature designs for Xbox and PC

The lineup includes the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard, the Retro R8 Mouse, and the Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox. Each device features a distinct visual theme drawn from woodland or aquatic environments. The keyboard and mouse share a 'Forest Wonder' design with pixelated trees and animals. The controller adopts a 'Mossy Lagoon' look featuring sea creatures and mossy textures.

The Retro 87 keyboard utilizes 8BitDo Core Green Tactile Mechanical Switches. These switches were co-developed with Kailh to provide a specific tactile feedback experience. The Ultimate 3 controller is built specifically for Xbox consoles, ensuring native compatibility. The Retro R8 mouse complements the keyboard with a matching wireless design and pixelated finish.

The Retro 87 Keyboard is available to buy now for 119.99 USD (around $120). The Retro R8 Mouse is on Amazon for 59.99 USD (around $59.99). The Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox is priced at 99.99 USD (around $99.99) and is available for pre-order ahead of its release on September 29. The Retro 87 was previously examined during coverage of 8BitDo's peripheral releases.
