Lenovo has expanded the global availability of the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 G6 IPL to include the United States and Canada. This release matters because it brings a new Panther Lake processor to a convertible laptop that prioritizes long battery life over high refresh rates. Buyers who need a durable 2-in-1 device for travel or office work now have a concrete option with modern internals and a clear price point.

Intel Panther Lake processors and upgradeable RAM define the new convertible

The ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 G6 IPL runs on Intel Panther Lake silicon. Users can choose between the Core Ultra 5 325 or the Core Ultra 7 355 processor. Lenovo pairs these chips with either 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR5-5600 SODIMM RAM. The system retains standard SODIMM slots, which allows for future memory upgrades rather than relying on soldered modules.

Specifications

  • Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or Core Ultra 7 355
  • Memory: 16 GB or 32 GB DDR5-5600 SODIMM
  • Storage: 256 GB to 1 TB M.2 SSD
  • Display: 14-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS
  • Battery: 60 Wh

Storage configurations offer 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of M.2 SSD capacity. The chassis includes both an M.2 2242 slot and an M.2 2280 slot for flexible drive installation. The 14-inch display provides a 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate. This panel delivers 400 nits of brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio for standard office tasks.

Lenovo equips the laptop with a 60 Wh battery pack. The company claims the device lasts 20.8 hours in a PCMark 10 test running at 120 nits. It also achieves 13.3 hours in a MobileMark 30 test at 250 nits. These figures suggest the machine can handle a full workday on a single charge for most users.

US pricing starts at $1,914 for the base configuration. The top-tier model with the Core Ultra 7 355 and 32 GB of RAM costs $2,769. Canadian pricing begins at CAD 2,657 and reaches CAD 3,854 for the maximum spec. We looked at Lenovo V15 Gen 7 IWC Launches in our earlier Lenovo coverage to track similar vendor moves.

The ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 G6 IPL is available globally in the US and Canada as of March 2026. The device combines Panther Lake performance with a 2-in-1 form factor and upgradeable components. This release completes the international rollout for this specific convertible laptop model.
