Axiomtek has launched its new MANO330 small-form-factor single board computer (SBC) in a Mini-ITX form factor that is aimed at industrial uses. This hardware upgrade is significant because it gives buyers a small form-factor SBC that also has modern Twin Lake CPUs and plenty of connection options. It means people looking for rugged embedded systems may now also look at a board that can handle up to 32 GB of RAM in a tiny package.
Mini-ITX board targets industrial IoT with modern connectivity
The Axiomtek MANO330 has two options for Intel Twin Lake CPUs, the N97 and the N150. For the N97 model, buyers get four Crestmont efficiency cores up to 3.6 GHz on a 12W CPU. Meanwhile, for the N150 model, buyers get four Gracemont efficiency cores up to 3.6 GHz on a 6W CPU. By synthetic benchmarks, the N97 appears to have about 17% more performance than the N150.
Specifications
- CPU: Intel N97 (12W) or N150 (6W)
- Memory: Up to 32 GB DDR5-4800
- Form Factor: Mini-ITX (17 x 17 cm)
- Storage: M.2 2280 or SATA 3.0
- Network: 2.5G and 1G Ethernet
The N97 variant tops out at 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. The N150 officially can't handle more than 16 GB of RAM. For storage, users can use one M.2 2280 slot or a SATA 3.0 port. The overall dimensions are 17 x 17 cm, following the traditional Mini-ITX form factor.
There are triple USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with DisplayPort functionality. For network connections, you can find 2.5G and 1G Ethernet ports, plus HDMI, VGA, and LVDS/eDP ports. The internals have two USB 2.0 headers, six RS-232 serial ports, and a nano SIM slot. There's a TPM 2.0 module and 8-bit GPIO for security.
The Axiomtek MANO330 is available globally right now. Specific pricing isn't available publicly. Presumably, it varies based on the volume of the order, so you'd have to ask for a quote from the vendor directly.
