Collectors should buy before July 31 retirement date

The retirement list covers a wide range of gaming franchises. Lego is discontinuing the premium Icons Pac-Man Arcade (10323) and the Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree (77092). The company is also ending production on the Piranha Plant (71426) and the Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi set (71438).

Several Super Mario and Mario Kart sets are retiring at the same time. The list includes Adventures with Interactive LEGO Mario (71439) and multiple Mario Kart variants. These variants feature the Yoshi Bike (72031), Standard Kart (72032), Baby Mario vs. Baby Luigi (72034), Toad’s Garage (72035), Baby Peach & Grand Prix Set (72036), Wario & King Boo (72038), Bowser’s Castle (72039), Captain Toad’s Camp (72040), Party at Toad’s House (72041), Prince Florian & Castle Bowse (72042), and Piranha Plant Power-Up Pursuit (72044).

Lego is also retiring sets based on Animal Crossing, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Minecraft. The Animal Crossing lineup includes Leif’s Caravan & Garden Shop (77054), Able Sisters Clothing Shop (77055), and Creative Houses: Seasons of Fun (77057). The Sonic the Hedgehog set Super Shadow vs. Biolizard (77003) is leaving the lineup as well. The Legend of Zelda set The Trial Chamber (21271) is also being retired.

These 21 sets will no longer be manufactured by Lego after the July 31 date. The official retirement means these models will not be restocked. Collectors should act quickly if they want to add these specific sets to their inventory.
