Retro manufactures the Charmera as a small, keychain-sized device. The camera uses a 1.6-megapixel CMOS sensor in a 1/4-inch format. It pairs this sensor with a fixed 35 mm f/2.4 lens for image capture.
The hardware maintains previous specifications and dimensions. Photos save to JPEG files at 1,440 by 1,080 pixels. The body measures 58 by 24.5 by 20 millimeters. A 200 mAh battery handles power and charges via USB-C.
Users must insert a microSD memory card for storage, though the device does not include one. New photo filters now allow customization of images. The Kodak Charmera Millennium Edition is available for pre-order on Amazon, though specific release dates have not been confirmed.
