GameSir is expanding its budget mobile controller lineup with the X5 Lite Xbox Edition, a special variant designed for players who want Xbox branding on their hardware. This release gives consumers a specific aesthetic option for the popular telescopic controller without changing the core functionality that made the original model a value pick. Buyers looking for a dedicated Xbox-themed accessory for their mobile gaming setup now have a new, officially licensed choice.

Special Xbox 25th Anniversary variant ships in October

The new controller is a telescopic mobile gamepad that stretches to fit devices ranging from 105mm to 213mm in width. It connects to phones, tablets, or PCs via a USB-C wired connection, ensuring low latency for competitive play. The design includes Hall Effect analog sticks and triggers, which are known for their durability and resistance to drift over time.

GameSir X5 Lite Xbox Edition Specifications

  • Connectivity: USB-C Wired
  • Polling Rate: 250Hz
  • Sticks & Triggers: Hall Effect
  • Adjustable Width: 105mm to 213mm
  • Price: Traditional X5 Lite + $10 USD (around $510)

Input controls feature tactile shoulder buttons and membrane face buttons alongside a membrane D-pad. The device supports a 250Hz polling rate, which is standard for this price tier, and allows for customization through the GameSir App. This app lets users remap buttons and adjust trigger sensitivity to match their preferred play style.

The X5 Lite Xbox Edition is available in three color schemes: Xbox White, Black, and the special 25th Anniversary Transparent Green. It is priced at $10 more than the traditional X5 Lite model, which places it around $510 USD globally. The exact launch day in October is not yet confirmed, but shipping is scheduled to begin that month.

We looked at GameSir G7 Pro Aimlabs Edition for in our earlier Gamesir coverage. This new release follows that pattern of offering themed variants for specific console ecosystems. The transparent green model stands out as a collector item for fans of the Xbox 25th Anniversary branding.
