HYTE Y50 PC Case Launches at $99 with RGB Fans and Five Color Options
ACCESSORIES

HYTE has introduced the Y50, its most affordable Y-series PC case to date, at Computex 2025. Priced at $99, the case brings RGB fans and a compact design to budget-conscious builders. The Y50 aims to deliver the brand's signature style without the premium price tag.

Cooling and motherboard support

The Y50 is a mid-tower case that supports E-ATX, ATX, mATX, and ITX motherboards, including rear-connect boards from ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI. It measures 473mm by 288mm by 461mm and is built from steel, ABS, and tempered glass. Five color options are available: Snow White, Pitch Black, Black Cherry, Strawberry Milk, and Taro Milk.

Spec comparison

Spec HYTE Y50
Dimensions 473mm x 288mm x 461mm
Motherboard Support E-ATX, ATX, mATX, ITX; Rear Connect
Included Fans 1x 360mm RGB reverse blade, 1x 120mm RGB
Max CPU Cooler Height 160mm
Price $99.99

Cooling is handled by two included RGB fans: a 360mm reverse-blade fan on the side and a 120mm fan at the rear. Each fan features eight ARGB LEDs and spins at 200 to 1500 RPM. The case supports up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans on top, three 120mm on the side, one 120mm at the rear, and two 120mm at the bottom. Radiator support includes up to 410mm on top and side, with thickness allowances of 46mm and 83mm respectively.

Accessories and availability

Motherboard compatibility extends to rear-connect designs, but using them reduces maximum PSU length from 250mm to 225mm. CPU cooler clearance is up to 160mm. Storage options include six 2.5-inch drive mounts (four shared with 3.5-inch bays) and two dedicated 3.5-inch bays. The front I/O panel offers two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and a combo audio jack.

HYTE also announced several accessories alongside the Y50. The THICC FR12 RGB fans come in Trio (three-pack) and Solo (single) options, priced at $44.99 and $19.99 respectively. Aesthetic Cable Extension Kits are available for $69.99, the ARGB Noodle LN80 lighting strip costs $29.99, and the ARGB & PWM Smart Hub is also $29.99. Pre-orders for the Y50 open later this month, with a full release expected in Q3 2025. The case carries a four-year warranty.

The Y50 fills a gap in HYTE's lineup as the entry-level Y-series option. It retains the distinctive aesthetic of its pricier siblings while lowering the cost barrier. The included RGB fans and support for rear-connect motherboards make it a versatile choice for modern builds.

HYTE's Y50 case is confirmed at $99 with a Q3 2025 release. It includes two RGB fans, supports a wide range of motherboards, and comes in five colors. The accompanying accessories add further customization options at additional cost.
