GameSir has released a new 'Metal Blue' color variant of the G7 Pro controller, giving Xbox players a fresh aesthetic option for their setup. This release matters because the specific finish is exclusive to Walmart, meaning buyers who want this look must go through that specific retailer. It adds a visual choice to the existing lineup without changing the core functionality of the controller.

Tri-mode controller ships with accessories and early discount

The GameSir G7 Pro is a tri-mode controller designed for cross-platform use. It connects to Xbox consoles via a wired USB cable, while PC users can utilize the 2.4GHz wireless dongle or a USB-C connection. Android devices are supported through Bluetooth connectivity. This flexibility allows gamers to switch between platforms without needing multiple controllers.

  • Color: Metal Blue
  • Connectivity: Tri-Mode (Wired USB, 2.4GHz Wireless, Bluetooth)
  • Price: $79.99
  • Promotional Price: $69.99
  • Exclusivity: Walmart

The controller ships with a comprehensive set of accessories to enhance usability. The package includes extra D-pads for customization, a cable retainer, a 2.4GHz wireless dongle, a charging dock, and a 3-meter Type-C cable. These components provide a complete out-of-the-box experience for users who want to customize their control scheme or manage their charging setup efficiently.

The standard price for the Metal Blue variant is $79.99. Early buyers can secure a discount by using the code 'METALBLU' at checkout, which lowers the price to $69.99. This promotional code is limited to the first 100 users, so availability for the discount is tight. The controller became available on September 4 at 5 AM Pacific Time.
