Supergiant Games has released a new update for Hades 2, focusing on bug fixes and balance adjustments. The patch addresses several issues that players have encountered in the game's Dream Dives mode and final boss encounters.
Supergiant Games releases a hotfix targeting final boss difficulty spikes and Dream Dives mode bugs in the roguelike action game.
The update targets specific problems within the Dream Dives mode. It fixes item delivery issues with Hermes and resolves unintended boon duplication from the Jeweled Pomkeep. The update addresses various issues to enhance player engagement with the game's demanding sections.
Final boss encounters have also received significant attention in this patch. Supergiant Games lowered the attack rate for companions in final boss encounters to reduce difficulty spikes. A defect where Demeter's Snow Queen barrier disappeared early was corrected so the ability functions as intended.
Further adjustments include preventing a final boss from tracking players too accurately with its fire breath attack. The Black Coat interaction against the last underworld boss has also been nerfed. The adjustments aim to refine the balance of final boss fights, offering a more consistent experience for players.
The patch extends beyond Dream Dives and final bosses, addressing enemy behavior in Oceanus and Tartarus. It corrects Land-Dracon AI under the Charm effect and moves Medea from the Crossroads. Inventory hints for Mystery Seeds have been added, along with improved visual and text feedback for Path of Stars and Apollo's Prominence Flair.
