This week, Pearl Abyss released patches 2.04.07 and 2.04.08 for Crimson Desert Enhanced. This patch brings important fixes to the game regarding stability, which have been causing gameplay issues on PS5 and Mac. Users who are experiencing frame drops in certain areas can expect better performance.

Pearl Abyss releases patches 2.04.07 and 2.04.08 to fix PS5 cutscene crashes and equipment resets

The new changes also include a new feature regarding spotted seals. Improvements to fishing have also been added in.

One of the main changes in this patch has to do with bug fixes. A bug that made Nibrak's cloth armor disappear has been fixed. There was also a bug where the game would load your save file near the anchorage to summon your ship to the island.

This has been fixed. Additionally, the game no longer reverts the level of enhancement on equipment when you load a single save on different accounts. Another fix has to do with unnatural outfit display errors.

This patch has certain combat changes as well. The Piercing Strike: Limit skill should now work properly when using two-handed sword. You should no longer crash the game when you approach castles and administrative structures after placing large amounts of flooring.

A fix for PS5 has been added where you can no longer crash during some cutscenes. For those using a Mac, the game should no longer crash after you beat the Leviacan boss (which would prevent you from progressing).

The game also adds some new features for immersion and convenience. There is now a way for you to feed the spotted seals in the game. There's also a prompt which will appear when you find a school of fish.

These are some of the changes which continue the trend of what was seen in the last update of Crimson Desert Enhanced. It was largely about fixes and improvements to stability and balance. Summary: – Pearl Abyss confirms release of patches 2.04.07 and 2.04.08 – Fix for the armor disappearing – Fix for the ship being summoned – Fix for the reset of the level of enhancement on equipment – Optimization fixes for areas with known frame drops – Fixes for crashing on PS5 and Mac – New feature for feeding the seals – New feature to prompt when you find a school of fish
