Crimson Desert Enhanced update 2.04.06 has been released by Pearl Abyss to fix game breaking stability problems. This update is aimed at fixing game stability issues that were causing crashes in the Pailun area if you use certain drivers combined with cinematic settings. This update fixes gameplay for those using version 26.10.1 for drivers. There are also fixes in this update to improve framerate in certain map areas that were dropping performance.

Pearl Abyss patches stability issues and gameplay bugs in version 2.04.06

The main fix in this update is to fix a major issue that occurs with the game engine and AMD driver causing the game to crash on the spot. Pearl Abyss has added performance improvements to specific areas where framerates were being impacted. Now you can traverse through those areas with stability. No longer will game breaking driver level conflicts be an issue for the player.

This update (v2.04.06) fixes a few different gameplay bugs regarding item integrity and gameplay navigation. The Lumen sword no longer breaks/disappears when used in certain combat situations. Disembarking on sailboats (and other ships) puts the player in the right spot now.

Moving cargo from ship to wagon no longer causes items to go missing. Players will now see the right wanted criminal icon on map/minimap.

There are also fixes for naval combat related errors when trying to use skills and audio issues. 'Devastation: Limit' skill now applies to weapons that previously had no effect on it. Also naval combat no longer plays reloading sounds repeatedly. You're guaranteed to be rewarded for killing ghost ships and the enemy 'Drunken Catfish.' Free construction mode no longer has blackouts/crashes when going to a house.

This is another update that continues to be about stability like the last Crimson Desert Enhanced update. Pearl Abyss continues to work on balancing and stability issues in game. With this update it's clear that both driver conflicts and item related issues are still at the forefront of developer fixes. You should grab update 2.04.06 to avoid crashes and get your game back in playable condition.

Driver level conflicts like this are a pain to debug. Glad they pinned the 26.10.1 issue in the Pailun region.

Does the fix apply to other AMD cards or just the specific ones listed? I am worried about my sailing missions.
