Oppo is trying to set the bar high with smartphone that is focused on battery endurance. Specifically, they have the PNC110 which is a smartphone primarily focused on having a high endurance battery for the consumers who want to have a smartphone that can go through a lot of usage and not worry about charging all the time. This highlights a change in the direction of hardware they are trying to make with their upcoming smartphones.
Oppo PNC110 battery is 20% larger than Oppo A7 Pro Max
The new smartphone will come with a large 11,640 mAh battery. It is likely Oppo will simply list it as 12,000 mAh for easy purposes. It is a much larger amount compared to what they have had in the past with the Oppo A7 Pro Max and Oppo Find X10 Pro Max.
Specifications
- Battery Capacity (Rated): 11,640 mAh
- Battery Capacity (Market): 12,000 mAh
- Connectivity: 5G
- SIM Support: Dual-SIM
To give the user modern connectivity, they have the 5G modem as well as dual-sim capability. The user will get modern networks and can have multiple lines. This type of battery pack along with typical connectivity features make the smartphone excel at endurance with functionality for normal usage.
There is no information currently on when the smartphone is launching or the price. If you recall our Oppo coverage we had the Oppo Find X10 Ultra Rumored to where we spoke about camera and display specifics. The PNC110 seems to be a completely different type of focus on the storage of power and not focusing on camera sensor amounts or display refresh rates.
