Apple Revenue Hits $114.5 Billion as iPhone 18 Pro Price Hike Drives Record Sales

Apple reports record Q4 2026 revenue of $114.5 billion, driven by a 12% increase in iPhone sales following a split launch strategy and a $100 price hike on Pro models.

Apple set a new revenue record in its fiscal 4th quarter of 2026. The new record was set primarily due to sales of the iPhone. The company made $114.5B in revenue.

Record iPhone revenue driven by split launch strategy and $100 price increase

That’s an increase of 12% over the same quarter last year. This just goes to show how dominant Apple is with their smartphone products in the world.

Apple specifically made $57.58B from iPhone sales. That’s a new all-time high for a September quarter. And this was all done on a year where they only released 2 new iPhones (iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max). They did not include the non-Pro base model iPhone 18 on the initial September release.

Part of the reason the iPhone sales revenue spiked so high is the $100 price bump for the 18 Pro’s. Couple this with their strategy of splitting the release and this likely led to people upgrading to the higher end Pro models. Even still, they sold a lot of the previous generation (iPhone 17) in addition to the new Pro iPhones.

Apple’s approach of splitting the iPhone release cycle seems to have led to consumer spending on the higher end hardware. Dropping the base entry level model from the current release cycle led to consumers opting for the more expensive options. All this led to a big increase in smartphone revenue for the quarter.

Apple is just charging more for the same chip. The strategy is lazy.

Is the base iPhone 18 coming out later this year or is it cancelled?

    1. IroncladOwl

It is coming out. Apple just wants to force Pro sales first.

lol price hikes are wild 🤔

The revenue spike is purely artificial. Consumers are stuck with the ecosystem.

I was waiting for the base model to drop in price but now I am just waiting for it to exist.
