Enad Global 7 announced The Wolves of Mordor, the 14th expansion to The Lord of the Rings Online. The focus of the new expansion turns to what happens after the War of the Ring. Fans of the lore surrounding the surviving servants of Sauron will have new things to experience. The new expansion includes new areas, and new progression systems for longtime fans.
The 14th expansion introduces Draugardh region and new gameplay features
The major aspect of the new expansion is the new area. The new area is called Draugardh and lies outside of the known lands of Gorgoroth. There are three different zones in Draugardh.
These include Heledhris, Parth Rhavas, and Nan Ogol. These are the main settings for the new campaign.
Along with the new areas, there are two big features in the new expansion. First is Survival Instincts which are a new progression system for character progression. The second is Neighbours, which lets companions actually live in the player's house. These new features add more depth to the role-playing elements.
The new expansion comes in three different flavors for the consumer. The Standard Edition is $39.99. The Collector's Edition is $79.99.
Finally, the Ultimate Fan Bundle is $129.99. These prices are for the global market.
This is the latest installment to a very long-standing series. Wolves of Mordor continues the lore of Middle-earth. It also presents new challenges to those that have finished earlier content. The new expansion is now available for purchase on your standard digital outlets.
