The new launch offers two different variants, Ryzen AI 5 330 and Ryzen AI 7 345. The Ryzen AI 7 345 is much more powerful. It is around 28% faster in CPU benchmarks compared to the Ryzen AI 5 330.
In GPU equivalent, it is more than 80% faster as per Notebookcheck. Both variants have a 50 Wh battery with 65 W charging. It has full-sized HDMI and USB type-A ports. This makes it easier to connect the peripherals.
The Ryzen AI 5 330 variant starts at JPY 195,800 (~$1,240). The more powerful variant, Ryzen AI 7 345 variant is priced at JPY 212,800 (~$1,348). These are confirmed by Acer.
They are available only in Japan. There is no information if these AMD variants will be available internationally. Earlier, we have covered Acer Aspire Lite 14 with Snapdragon for sub-$750 segment. This is for the higher-end AMD variants with Swift Air.

Japan pricing is steep. The Ryzen AI 7 model costs over thirteen hundred dollars. That feels like a lot for a 1200p screen.
Does the 50 Wh battery hold up on a long train ride? The OLED panel might drain it fast.
I hope so. The 16 GB RAM is locked in which limits multitasking. I would worry about the battery life more than the storage space.
