New trailer confirms platforms and 2028 release for the funded roguelite
The studio wants to present you with a narrative game where you can gather creatures called Neoran. Neoran are a new kind of evolved animal and plant life, influenced by primal energy called Neura. According to Nara Studio, the world of Wonderful Neoran Valley is colorful but hides darker secrets behind it. It sounds like there's going to be both whimsical exploration and more serious narrative elements in the game.
Wonderful Neoran Valley is coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam). The studio managed to secure the funds for the game through Kickstarter campaign, back in March. Their goal was €100,000 and they managed to gather €923,091.
It shows that the game and the studio are interesting for players within this genre. They used this money to build up the mechanics and the narrative of the game.
In the trailer, they introduce you to the main characters like Knight, and dragon Iris. The Knight's voice is Troy Baker and the voice of the dragon is Ben Starr. Voice actors like Troy Baker and Ben Starr elevate the character interactions in the game. The game is releasing in 2028 so they have time to polish the roguelite parts and deliver a good narrative.
