ArcheAge Chronicles moves out of the demo phase and into Early Access on PC (Steam) starting on November 3, 2026. Early Access makes the full experience of ArcheAge Chronicles' gameplay and world immediately available to players. If you participated in the October demo, now's your chance to try out the full experience in Early Access. The move from demo to playable is an important step for the title.
XLGAMES releases the MMORPG on PC via Steam with four classes and eight weapons
ArcheAge Chronicles is an game created by XLGAMES using Unreal Engine 5. It's intended for the PC market and is distributed through the Steam platform. It's being released in Early Access.
It's not a complete game for sale at retail. This means the game can be iterated and improved on over time with player input.
There are three different areas to explore in Early Access. There are four different character classes available from the start. For each of these classes, there are two different weapons to use – making a total of eight choices available. That's what's in the playable content at launch.
ArcheAge Chronicles will remain in Early Access for around nine to 12 months or so. XLGAMES executive producer Yongjin Ham thanks players for their comments and suggestions during the Steam Next Fest demo. XLGAMES will be taking player feedback into account and delivering regular updates with new content, the executive says. They'll also be working to improve the game after Early Access ends.
In North America, the Early Access bundle will sell for $29.99. That's the price during launch. You'll be able to buy the game right through Steam when it launches on November 3. You'll be paying for Early Access content right now, as well as for updates during Early Access.
