The Outlast Trials are now available on Nintendo Switch 2. The new handheld platform from Nintendo hosts the latest from the studio, which is their co-op horror game. It's here on Switch 2 allowing those with the new handheld console to play the terrifying trials of the Murkoff Corporation in their palms.
Co-op horror game ports to Switch 2 handheld for $39.99
It's now easier for anyone to get together with their friends or test themselves through the psychological difficulties. Now all of that can be done no matter where they are.
Red Barrels brought this survival horror game to life as a co-op focused title. The game focuses on the player surviving more and more horrific situations. They'll need to work together with those around them to get through therapy sessions.
The story plays out with the idea that if you're able to make it long enough, you can leave. But you may never be the same after that.
The game is now available to download right away on the Nintendo eShop. It's going for a price tag of 39.99 USD (~$39.99). That's the price tag for all around the world as far as customers go. The $39.99 price point is about what you'd pay in retail for it on other current-gen platforms.
The Outlast Trials was first released into Early Access on PC back in May 2023. In March 2024, we got the full game out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. That means we know the game available for Switch 2 is the finished game as a port, not some early version of it.
We've been keeping up with The Outlast Trials. We've even covered a recent update called Chemical Leak Update. Now we've got the game on Switch 2 bringing it to a new console.
It's been on PC and other major consoles before now. Now if you want that co-op horror game on Nintendo's new console, you've got a solid option to pick up right now.
