The BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City has set a new viewership record for Rainbow Six Siege Majors. The tournament, held from May 8 to May 18, 2026, accumulated 7,703,132 hours watched over eleven days, according to Esports Charts.

DarkZero defeats Shopify Rebellion 3-1

DarkZero won the event, defeating Shopify Rebellion 3-1 in the Grand Finals. The peak viewership reached 247,776, more than doubling the peak of the previous Major. Co-streamers contributed 47% of the total hours watched, with streamer Jynxzi alone accounting for 1.44 million hours and peaking at over 70,000 viewers during the Grand Final.

The tournament introduced a new format that included a GSL Play-in phase and single-elimination playoffs. This change may have contributed to the increased engagement.

Ubisoft has not confirmed whether future Majors will adopt a similar format or if viewership growth will continue. The record underscores the growing popularity of Rainbow Six Siege esports in North America.
