Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad Slim 3 14Q7X11, a new budget laptop that targets users who need long battery life without spending much money. This device matters because it offers over 30 hours of video playback, which is rare for a low-cost machine. Buyers who travel often or work in places with limited outlets will find this endurance useful.

Snapdragon C11 chip powers entry-level laptop with long endurance

The laptop runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon C C11-0100 chipset, which features an octa-core design. This processor combines one core at 3 GHz, three cores at 2.6 GHz, and four cores at 2 GHz. Lenovo paired this chip with either 4 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR5X-6393 RAM.

Specifications

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon C C11-0100
  • Memory: 4 GB or 8 GB LPDDR5X-6393
  • Storage: 128 GB UFS 3.1 + M.2 2242 slot
  • Display: 14-inch IPS, 1920 x 1200, 60 Hz
  • Battery: 50 Wh (33 hours video playback)

Storage comes in the form of 128 GB of UFS 3.1 flash memory, which the company solders to the motherboard. Users can expand storage later using the included M.2 2242 slot that supports PCIe 3.0 x2. The 14-inch IPS display offers a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate.

The screen covers only 45% of the NTSC color space and reaches a maximum brightness of 400 nits. Lenovo rates the 50 Wh battery for 33 hours of 1080p video playback at 150 nits or 13.5 hours of web browsing. The laptop weighs 1.39 kg and measures 314 x 222 x 19 mm.

European retailers have listed the IdeaPad Slim 3 14Q7X11 for between 422 and 569 EUR. Lenovo has not yet confirmed official global pricing or an exact release date. We looked at the Intel-based IdeaPad Slim 3 14IWC11 Hits in our earlier Lenovo coverage.

This model joins the Slim 3 lineup as a globally available option for entry-level computing. It provides a clear alternative for users who prioritize battery endurance and low cost over display quality or high processing power.
