Bandai Namco released a patch for Code Vein 2 that removes a specific roadblock for players stuck in farm playthroughs. This update matters because it resolves a progression issue that prevented players from completing the 'Request Treatment from Holly' quest. Players who encountered this issue can now proceed with their story without reloading a previous save.
Bandai Namco hotfix resolves unprogressable quest in farm playthroughs
The game is available on consoles and PC. Bandai Namco Entertainment deployed version 2.002 on September 14. The studio described this release as a hotfix aimed at stability rather than adding new content or features.
The patch targets a bug where the quest would become unprogressable under certain conditions. Bandai Namco stated, "Fixed a bug where, in farm playthroughs, the quest ‘Request Treatment from Holly’ would become unprogressable under certain conditions." This fix directly addresses the error that halted player advancement in that specific scenario.
We looked at the last Code Vein 2 update earlier while tracking similar balance and stability themes. This latest patch continues that focus on resolving player-facing blockers. The update is now live for all supported platforms globally.
Players can download version 2.002 immediately. The fix ensures that the farm playthrough quest functions as intended. The game remains available on all current consoles and PC.
