Banchou Tactics: Lion Heart is now playable on the Switch 2, giving handheld owners immediate access to the game. This staggered release means Switch 2 users do not need to wait for the broader console launch later this month. The developer, Corecell Technology, has structured the rollout to prioritize the handheld platform first.
Staggered release gives handheld players immediate access
The title is an action tactical RPG that pits rival Japanese delinquent schools against each other. Corecell Technology developed the game for multiple platforms, including the Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. Players can expect a genre blend that combines tactical strategy with action elements in a school rivalry setting.
The game is currently available for download on the Switch 2 platform. Corecell Technology confirmed the status with a direct statement: "Banchou Tactics: Lion Heart now available for Switch 2, launches October 10 for PS5 and Xbox Series." This quote confirms the exact release windows for all supported hardware.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions will launch on October 10. This date applies to both console platforms simultaneously. The staggered release strategy allows Switch 2 players to start playing before the other consoles become available.
