Oppo has confirmed the launch of its Reno 16 series in China on May 25. The lineup includes the standard Reno 16 and the Reno 16 Pro. According to leaks, both models feature significant camera and battery upgrades.
Reno 16 and Pro models pack 200MP cameras
The Reno 16 is rumored to sport a 6.32-inch 1.5K OLED flat display and a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 processor. It is expected to pack a 6700mAh battery. The Reno 16 Pro is said to have a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with adaptive refresh rate, powered by a Dimensity 9500s chipset and a 7000mAh battery. Both models are tipped to support 80W wired charging, while the Pro may add 50W wireless charging. Camera specifications for both are rumored to include a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto.
