Lenovo has released the V15 Gen 7 IWC, a budget 15.6-inch laptop that brings 's latest Wildcat Lake silicon to the mainstream market. This update matters because it replaces older Twin Lake processors with more efficient chips, offering better performance for everyday tasks without raising the price point. Buyers looking for long battery life and reliable office computing now have a refreshed option that prioritizes endurance over gaming power.

Budget laptop adds efficiency and endurance to mainstream lineup

The device features a 15.6-inch display with a 1920×1080 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Users can choose between TN or IPS panels, both capped at 300 nits of brightness. The chassis measures 359.2 by 235.8 by 19.9 mm and weighs 1.6 kg, making it a standard portable size for business and education environments.

Lenovo rates the 47 Wh battery for over 17 hours in PCMark 10 tests, a strong figure for this class of machine. Notebookcheck benchmarks indicate that the Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 chips outperform the older Processor N150 by a wide margin. The V15 Gen 7 IWC is currently available in Germany with a starting price of 919 EUR (around $1,047) for the Core 5 320 model. Upgrading to the Core 7 350 processor adds approximately 130 EUR to the cost, bringing the total to 1049 EUR (around $1,195). Lenovo states that cheaper Core 3 304 and Core 5 315 variants will eventually be available, but they are not yet on sale.
