Zed Zone comes out of Early Access after a 3 years development cycle to finally bring the complete 1.0 version on Steam. That is a big deal because there is already a big player base formed during Early Access. With this final version you can get all the content that makes the full version of the game. So now you can finally experience the full zombie survival game experience and no more updates are needed.
Zed Zone 1.0 full release launches on Steam with 8-player co-op and 40% discount
The game is released on PC on Steam by developer Leven Liu and publisher INDIECN on 6 November, 2024. There is also co-op multiplayer up to 8 players. So you can play the game with your friends to take on the survival aspects together. Almost 4000 reviews have been given with 82% positive rating on the platform.
The 1.0 update will bring a new location called Far Island with 10 new areas that are available to explore for players. Along with that also arrives Zone 61 and final boss that needs to be defeated in 3 phases. This adds lots of new content to the game loop already present.
The update brings 2 new game modes Cataclysm and Horde to the game. Also there is mod sync support to keep the game stable when you play with custom mods. The game has also 40% discount for the launch time until 19 November. So now you can pick up the full version for lower price if you are new to the game.
It is the end of the very long Early Access development that started many years ago. Now the game is finally the full game with all the content that it was going to have in the base game version. So you can grab the game and buy the title on Steam with the discount at the moment.

Three years in early access is a long time. Glad it finally launched though.
Does the mod sync actually work well or is it still buggy? I want to play with friends.
The mod sync is just a manifest hash check. It prevents desyncs but does not validate mod code quality. Use with caution.
Is the 40 percent discount real or just marketing fluff? I usually wait for deeper cuts.
