Vivo is rolling out new camera features for its flagship smartphones starting in July. The update brings a Blueprint Colour Palette and new image watermarks. A 4K Ultra HD Live mode for Live Photos is also on the way.
Blueprint Colour Palette arrives in July
The features target the X200 series, including the X200, X200 Pro, X200 Pro mini, and X200s. The X200 Ultra and upcoming X300 series also receive the upgrades. The X Fold5 foldable is included for the watermark update.
The Blueprint Colour Palette arrives in July for the X200, X200 Pro, X200s, and X200 Pro mini. New image watermarks will land in August on eight smartphones, including the X Fold5. The 4K Ultra HD Live feature also arrives in August on the X300 series and X200 Ultra.
Vivo describes the 4K Ultra HD Live mode as a feature that enhances Live Photos. The company has not confirmed whether these features will reach the global version of OriginOS. Availability outside China remains uncertain.
The update follows Vivo's pattern of adding camera software enhancements to its flagship line. The X200 Ultra is the current imaging flagship, and the X300 series is expected to succeed it later this year.
