Samsung is continuing to push its One UI 9 update to even more mid-range devices in India. The latest Android 17 base is now being pushed to more everyday users who put their mid-range devices to work in day-to-day tasks. Now the One UI 9 stable version marks the end of the beta testing stage and brings devices to a ready-for-use production level.
Samsung extends One UI 9 stable update to Galaxy M56, A35, M17, and F17 in India
The new updates promise stable performance and security updates without any unreliability of early-stage software. The Galaxy M56, A35, M17 and F17 devices should now have a more solid experience as Samsung wraps up their software layer updates for the respective devices.
This new One UI 9 update is coming to 4 device families to cover a variety of different segments of the Indian market. From the mid-range M56 and A35 to the affordable M17 and F17 models, Samsung is pushing One UI 9 across the board to get the same user experience and security updates across its mid-range device line. This wide push ensures all users, regardless of their price point, can have the same underlying OS platform and UI improvements in place.
Firmware builds are specific for the respective devices based on their configurations. Download sizes can vary a bit from 2.2GB to 2.7GB in file size. Galaxy M56 devices get the M566BXXU7DZJ1 firmware in a 2.2GB package.
Galaxy A35 models get the A356EXXUBEZJ2 firmware. This firmware build is quite a bit larger at 2.7GB. Meanwhile, Galaxy M17 and F17 models are getting firmware with the DZJ5 suffix.
This firmware is right around 2.4GB in size for both models. The specific software sizes can vary due to the unique system partitions and preinstalled apps on each model.
All 4 devices are coming to Android 17 with the latest October 2026 security patch addressing recent vulnerabilities with the OS. One UI 9 has UI changes and performance improvements. Feature availability will vary based on the specific hardware in place for your phone.
