The update installs as version 1.000.006 on consoles and version 1.16.244 on PC. Bethesda deployed this release to fix a freeze that could occur when players traverse planet surfaces.

The patch also resolves an issue where Black Box Incursions would fail to start or reset properly. It fixes a crash triggered by placing a Designer Couch aboard a ship and addresses an infinite load screen caused by data slate displays on ships.

This update includes general crash and stability improvements for the game. Players on all platforms can download this patch now to resolve these specific bugs.

The release is available immediately on all supported platforms as of June 11. Bethesda has not announced any changes to the pricing or system requirements for this patch.
