Lenovo introduced the Legion R9000P to bring a new display manufacturing method to gaming laptops. This shift matters because it promises to lower the cost of high-refresh-rate OLED screens for buyers. The 16-inch model uses Inkjet-printed OLED technology from TCL CSOT to achieve this goal.

The laptop pairs its new screen with a 240Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. It also covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for accurate colors. Lenovo expects the panel to use a true RGB stripe subpixel layout to improve text clarity.
