The latest gameplay teaser for Whispers in the Fog, released by Pasquale Scionti, has given us a better glimpse of the upcoming indie horror game. It's important because it gives us more insight into the game as it's first person and story driven, which are two crucial parts for fans of psychological horror games. This also moves away from concept art and now gives us a glimpse into some actual mechanics.
Solo developer shares first look at puzzle-solving mechanics and atmospheric horror
We play as a man named Adrian looking for his missing brother in a town known as Whispers. This is a first person, story driven psychological horror game, with an emphasis on atmosphere over action. The game is being created by a solo indie developer and he's working on this project himself.
Our main gameplay will be exploring and learning from the environment and solving puzzles in the game's world. Of course, we'll have to inventory manage as we explore the town and learn about the story. We're looking at a more 'thoughtful' and slower gameplay usually seen in this type of game.
No ETA/release date for when Whispers in the Fog will come out. So if you're interested in this game, you'll have to wait for more info from the dev. For now, this teaser is our main source of info.
