The iQOO Z11xa 5G arrives in India this week as a budget-friendly option for users who prioritize battery life and durability over premium display technology. This device targets buyers who need a rugged phone that can withstand water exposure and last through heavy daily use without frequent charging. It serves as the fourth model in the Z11 series, filling a specific niche for consumers seeking long-lasting power in a mid-range package.

Rugged smartphone targets heavy users with massive cell and IP69+ rating

iQOO launched this smartphone on September 14, positioning it as a variant of the existing Z11x lineup. The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo 5G chipset, which handles everyday tasks and light gaming. It operates on OriginOS 6, providing a standard Android experience tailored for the Indian market. The phone is locked to a single configuration, meaning buyers cannot choose different memory or storage options.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.76-inch LCD, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo 5G
  • Battery: 7,200mAh with 44W FlashCharge
  • Durability: IP68 and IP69+ rating
  • Storage: 8GB RAM, 128GB internal

The hardware features a 6.76-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2344 x 1080 pixels. It comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The rear camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main sensor paired with a 2-megapixel bokeh lens for depth effects. A 32-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.

A standout feature is the 7,200mAh battery, which supports 44W FlashCharge technology. iQOO claims that a 10-minute charge can provide up to six hours of calling time. The company also states that the battery retains at least 80% capacity after 1,600 complete charging cycles. The device carries an IP68 and IP69+ rating for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for harsh environments.

The iQOO Z11xa 5G is priced at Rs 27,499 INR (around $291) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. Sales began on September 14 through Amazon Specials in India. This pricing places it in the competitive entry-level segment where durability and battery life are key selling points.

We looked at other Z11 series models earlier while tracking iQOO's launch strategy in the Indian market. The Z11xa completes the current generation by offering a rugged, battery-focused alternative to standard mid-range phones. Consumers in India can now purchase this specific configuration directly from Amazon.
