Vivo has introduced the V80 in India, bringing a 7,200mAh battery to the V Series lineup for the first time. The 7,200mAh battery provides significantly longer endurance between charges compared to previous models. The Vivo V80 launched at the NEXT 2026 event as a high-capacity option for users who prioritize battery life.

The smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process. It pairs this processor with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB using UFS 3.1 technology. The device ships with OriginOS 7, making it one of the first Vivo phones in India to feature this software update.

The panel reaches up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness and includes 4320Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. The phone also features IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with slim bezels around the screen.

Photography capabilities include a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. The telephoto module uses a Sony IMX882 sensor and provides 3x optical zoom. A 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus and a 92-degree field of view handles selfies and video calls.

The Vivo V80 starts at Rs 62,999 INR (around $654) for the 8GB+128GB configuration. The 8GB+256GB model costs Rs 69,999 INR (around $726), while the top-tier 8GB+512GB variant is priced at Rs 79,999 INR (around $830). Sales begin on October 13 through Vivo’s online store, Amazon, Flipkart, and authorized retail partners.
