Riot Games has removed D4vd's song 'Remember Me' from the Arcane Season 2 soundtrack on Spotify. The move follows the arrest of D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, on a murder charge.
Artist faces murder allegations
Burke is accused of killing 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Riot Games is likely distancing itself from the artist after the arrest. Other brands have taken similar steps: Hollister and Crocs removed Burke from their campaigns, and Kali Uchis requested the removal of their collaborative single 'Crashing'.
Epic Games offered refunds for a D4vd Fortnite skin but kept the item in the game. The situation remains fluid, and Riot Games has not commented further on the soundtrack changes.
The removal was first reported by BBC, Variety, and PCGamesN. It is unclear if the song will be restored or if other platforms will follow Spotify's lead.
