Players who prefer a deeper immersion in Cyberpunk 2077 now have a more flexible first-person view thanks to a new mod release. The True First Person Camera 2.0 mod by DigitalVixen overhauls the standard perspective, allowing users to adjust camera height and depth for a personalized experience. The mod enhances immersion by allowing players to adjust their viewpoint, supporting both role-playing and tactical playstyles.
Modder DigitalVixen adds free-look and vehicle camera tuning
The mod is designed specifically for the PC version of the game. The mod replaces static default camera settings with a dynamic system that adjusts based on in-game actions. Modder DigitalVixen developed the tool to improve the original first-person perspective, which some players found static or disconnected.
Version 2.0 introduces several key technical features that enhance visual fidelity and control. The mod includes a free-look mode that lets players pan the camera independently of movement. It also adds a weapon IK system for more realistic aiming and a first equip animation system for smoother item handling. Players can access a built-in configuration menu via a hotkey to tweak these settings on the fly.
Vehicle and bike cameras receive significant tuning improvements in this update. The mod now supports head reflections in Ray Tracing and Path Tracing modes when player reflections are enabled. The addition of head reflections in ray tracing modes enhances visual fidelity in the first-person view. The mod is available for global download on Nexus Mods.
