Exactly a year after the release of Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober Team has launched a free update for the game. This free update includes the addition of a photo mode. With the photo mode players can take pictures inside the horror world of the game.
Free update adds photo mode and halves price for PS5 players
Along with this update a 50% discount is being offered for the digital version of the game. This substantial discount on the title gives a great incentive to pick up the game for a discounted price.
The free update for Cronos: The New Dawn focuses on quality of life additions rather than substantial gameplay changes. The largest update being the addition of a photo mode. This photo mode gives players the ability to manipulate the angle of the camera and to add filters to the shots.
Photo modes in modern horror games are becoming quite popular to help with player interaction and content creation. The update comes in at 1 year after the game's release to help extend the life cycle with little friction.
The update brings about a 50% discount for the digital version of Cronos: The New Dawn. Bloober Team is providing a 50% discount in price to increase new downloads. This discount is coming at a time after the initial hype of the launch has died down. The discount is coming for PlayStation 5 in a specific window of promotion.
For the PS5, the discount is promotional in nature and it lasts until November 5th. Players will need to get their copy at half-off before the November 5th date. The assumption will be that the game goes back to the standard price of the digital game once November 5th rolls around. This gives players with a budget in mind a clear cut time limit to get the game.
