Local AI companion Capri offers offline privacy and desktop integration

The software is made by sigmasheron and is a standalone software for windows. With the help of the framework called Ollama, they are able to host local AI models on your system which allows the software to run in offline mode. This means you don't need to be online all the time for it to work, or to keep your conversation and other things going.

Capri AI has a bunch of different features which let you interact with it. It has desktop animations, text/voice chat, launching software, etc. It also does web searches and there is a neural network that helps in memory mapping so it keeps track of everything.

The current language support is only English and Spanish. So it works only in two languages as of now.

You can get the software for free(pay what you want) on itch.io. There is also a totally free option available for you to download. The developer has also mentioned that the development for mobile version is in progress. Also in future the support for will be added to expand the availability to systems other than windows.
