Dell's Alienware brand is expanding its monitor lineup with a more affordable curved 34-inch QD-OLED display. The new AW3426DW targets gamers who want high refresh rates and vibrant colors without the premium price of the flagship AW3926QW 5K model.

QD-OLED panel with 280Hz refresh rate

The AW3426DW is a 34-inch ultrawide monitor built around a QD-OLED panel. It offers a 3440×1440 resolution, a 280 Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms grey-to-grey response time. Peak brightness reaches 1300 nits with HDR content, and the panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Specifications

  • Panel Size: 34-inch
  • Panel Type: QD-OLED
  • Resolution: 3440 x 1440
  • Refresh Rate: 280 Hz
  • Peak Brightness: 1300 nits

Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.3, USB-A, USB-B, and USB-C ports. The monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and Dolby Vision for high dynamic range content. It also works with FreeSync Premium Pro, G-Sync, and VESA AdaptiveSync for tear-free gaming.

Dell backs the AW3426DW with a three-year warranty that covers burn-in, a common concern with OLED displays. The monitor features an 1800R curvature for an immersive viewing experience. Pricing has not been announced yet.

The AW3426DW launches globally in July 2026. Dell has not revealed the exact price, but the monitor is positioned as a cheaper alternative to the AW3926QW. We recently covered Dell's Alienware monitors when discussing the AW3926QW launch.

The AW3426DW brings QD-OLED technology to a more accessible price point with a 34-inch ultrawide format. It combines high refresh rates, fast response times, and comprehensive adaptive sync support. Gamers looking for a premium curved display can expect it to arrive this July.
